I had the same question......
I looked at 16" and 18"" they both were excellent in the wild one especially with my nacelle.
But I liked the looks of the 18". I decided to take the 18"psycho cubby. and still very happy.
Especialy caus of the quality of the material. I tried to import the Gangster chubby from Carlini but they are not "easy" to get into Holland (EU).
When I see an 16" go by i'm happy that I took de 18" because they look more radical and most the 16"bikers are checking me out because the should have taken de bigger ones !!
btw in Holland we do'nt have the issue with shoulder height's
