Dont bother with the dealer. They wont be helpful on this one.

With not mods....no the tire wont fit.
With minor mods, yes the tire will fit under your stock fender.
Back in 02 they were still using the old hardware inside the fender to hold the struts on which was much bulkier. If you replace that hardware with the new style hardware, then you have room inside your fender for a 150 with no other mods what so ever (to my knowledge). To go to a 160, you need to center the tire in the fender. To do this, do some searching. I have posted info on this quite a few times. Its basically just using a 1/8" wider spacer on the right side of your wheel and a little bit of grinding on your brake caliper. Overall pretty easy. I am running a 160 on my 04 and plan on squeezing a 170 in there next time.

Its just the strut bolts. The easy solution is to turn them around and use accorn nuts or something simular. The best way would to be to just buy a set of 03-05 hardware. It cant be more than $15 or $20 for the 4 nuts and bolts. You may only need the nuts for the inside anyway.

If you have any more questions don't hesitate to ask.

I am not sure the exact size it is (I cant really go out in my garage and look since I am in Iraq...), but the stock 150 will fit without issues. The 160 you would run is the tire that comes stock on a Deuce. If you do some searching, or use Metzler tires website that will give you the original equipment sizes. Don't forget, Metz tires run narrow, so a metz 160 is more like a dunlop 150.
I think the Deuce 160 is the same height, just wider. Since it is on a 17" wheel it will be a lower profile tire though.
