Hey thanks man but I am trying to find the Davida Ninety One or whatever it is called. It is registered as DOT approved, the Speedster isn't. The laws here state you must wear a DOT helmet, and although for the most part I say f*ck the law, the insurance companies here have followed suit. If I get in an accident and am seriously hurt or killed, I have a 3 yr old and a 5 month old that rely on me and I need to have insurance for them...

Sorry...for some reason the link takes you to the non-DOT approved page. THere is another helmet they offer now called the "JET" which is DOT approved. Poke around on the site, you'll find it.
Ya I cruised around on their website for a while before. They must have discontinued the Ninety One. The Jet is much larger by the looks of the pics and doesn't have the nice low profile.
What about the new Buco helmets back in production? They claim to be just like the 70s version in size and appearance, and carry a large price tage of around $360 US shipped here. Anyone try one?
Last year I got a pair of BlueAnt helmet bluetooth devices. They can be connected wirelessly to a cell, or can be switched to be a wireless intercom between two riders or a rider and passenger. Didn't take me long to realize that half the reason for wanting to ride my Harley more often than drive my pickup (which has Bluetooth handsfree as well) was TO AVOID TALKING ON THE PHONE!!!! When I bought a new helmet, I have conveniently "forgotten" to switch the BlueAnt over to my new helmet. I left the other on my wife's helmet so she can talk on the phone while riding behind me.....
