Default Fatboy Lo Windshield

So what windshield should I get? It will only be used for the long hauls so its needs to be removable. I have been looking at HD's but don't want to pay that kind of money...any ideas?

I got this one. It's also only for long hauls. It's detachable and was just released with black hardware so that it matches the FBL much nicer. I love it. Easy to remove too.

I bought the same screen when I bought the bike, but it was backordered so I haven't picked it up yet. I look at it like this, I think the bikes look better without windshields but for the long haul you gotta (at least i do) have one. Pop it off when you get where you're going and no worries.

I got the same windshield for exactly the same reason - long hauls only. It is really useful, and doesn't look bad, although I am of the same mind: Bike looks better without it.

Check out Memphis Shades. I think they are a bit less expensive than the Harley ones.

I swapped out the stock (21") plexiglas on a detachable HD windshield with a 15" tall one from Memphis Shades for my FBL. The lower glass protects well and the bike doesn't lose too much of the 'Lo' look. HD sells a 16" replacement piece for $155 and I think the Memphis Shades was around $95.
