I put my PCV on with the stock seat . I just trimmed the ribs off the bottom of the ugly plastic cover and some heavy duty velcro under it. No problems for over 10000k now
I get about 180 or so to a tank, which usually includes some freeway, a lot of surface streets and some twisties. I could prob squeeze 200 out if it was just straight freeway. BR 2-2, RSD intake and PCV.
I bought a oil temp dipstick and ran two tanks of gas through and averaged 43 mpg. I did get in small traffic jam on a 85 degree day and monitored oil temp go up to 260 degrees. When running highway speeds I'm seeing temps around 230.
Looks like I may be able to run alittle leaner? Opinions...??
I just got a set of Bub 7's and I was looking at getting a PC-V, but heard they don't 'fit' the Crossbones. Based on this thread, I guess I'll give it a shot anyway.
Isn't there 2 versions of PC-V for Softails... one for the Heritage & Deluxe, and another for the others? Which Part# am I supposed to get?
