I put my PCV on with the stock seat . I just trimmed the ribs off the bottom of the ugly plastic cover and some heavy duty velcro under it. No problems for over 10000k now

Added the new map from Fuelmoto and I'm now getting 43mpg. Still a little low to me but I guess thats the best I'm gonna do

I get about 180 or so to a tank, which usually includes some freeway, a lot of surface streets and some twisties. I could prob squeeze 200 out if it was just straight freeway. BR 2-2, RSD intake and PCV.

Default oil temp monitor

I bought a oil temp dipstick and ran two tanks of gas through and averaged 43 mpg. I did get in small traffic jam on a 85 degree day and monitored oil temp go up to 260 degrees. When running highway speeds I'm seeing temps around 230.

Looks like I may be able to run alittle leaner? Opinions...??

Thumbs up

Good info guys.

I just got a set of Bub 7's and I was looking at getting a PC-V, but heard they don't 'fit' the Crossbones. Based on this thread, I guess I'll give it a shot anyway.

Isn't there 2 versions of PC-V for Softails... one for the Heritage & Deluxe, and another for the others? Which Part# am I supposed to get?
