I was riding home from work down the highway and I heard this metallic sound and see something bouncing on the road. When I pulled up at the lights, I have quickly looked over the back end of my Doose. Turns out I am one V&H BSS End Cap short. When I got the bike it came baffleless. Clearly the cap was not secured.
Can any of you good blokes advise where I might be able to get an end cap from Online. Whils I am at it, I wouldn't mind throwing some BCT Baffles in. On the BCT website, they recommend that you measure the pipes to ensure you get the right size baffles. As I am sitting here at work, I was just wondering what size would be appropriate for the BSS's? Is there any other branded baffles that enhance the sound without having to resort to the V&H baffles?
Drew - Could you please PM me a quote for the end cap and the BCT baffles. The retailers over here in OZ are thieves...I foolishly thought that the days of bushrangers and bandits where over!
If its the stock slash ones I have bss's and I lost one so I removed the remaining one. If you PM me a mailing adress I'll give it to you. A new set is frekin 70+ so no thanks buying new ones. If you want it let me know. You know the whole pay it forward thing.
Softy - I am based in Australia so thanks anyway. I thought if I could buy them through the good Dr (Drew) I might be able to bundle them up with the baffles to escape the freight charge on the caps as a seperate unit. I really appreciate the kind gesture. It's good to come across good blokes like yourself. Doesn't seem to happen as often as it probably should.
