So it is going to be more of a budget build than I was planning, but it will do. I was unable to cancel my order for the 95" kit I ordered so it will sit there until I have the money for it.
I am going to put the 95" kit on what I have now, leave the heads stock, and everything else as it is.
It will be S/E 95" kit
RSD Venturi A/C
D&D fatcat
S/E 203 cams
Stock heads
PCIIIR
I will be doing all the work with a friend to save on labor costs as I usually do. We will be doing another friends bike at the same time with different cams so it will be interesting to see the difference.
So how much tq and HP do you think I am going to make? I was searching the softail Dyno thread and I am hoping for 90hp and 95tq, although I know numbers are just numbers.
I am also going to need a new Dyno tuner once this is on in my area that does PCIII's as the one we sue the most does not tune PCIII's and I want maximum performance out of this bad boy. The first place that comes to mind is Horn Cycle Works in Pomona. Other suggestions closer to where I live would be more than welcome. I am in West LA near the 10 and 405.
I got 76 hp and 92 tq with a 95" kit, flat top pistons, SE a/c, pcIII, andrews 26 cams, no head work, true duals with rush mufflers w/1.75" baffles. I don't know the effect of the 203 cams but I was told the true duals were holding me back and a 2 into 1 would yield higher numbers. I would guess you can hit close to the hp you want and definitely get the torque.
