Well it just happens to be i've ran both bars you are talking about(BURLYBRAND)... IMO.. As far as style it's about a 50/50 on looks. I like em' both.
Now as far as comfort goes well thats another ball park. The beachbars 38.5" gave me pain between the shoulder blades. I assume it was because i had them pushed down to the tank. Now the 14's apes... I have zero pain with them. Very comfortable! I went through 4 sets of bars to find comfort, and with the 14's i found it. You will be very pleased with those bars. By the way im 5'10" and the fit me perfectly.

Thanks BNC.... I will probably regret it, but I will probably go with the BB 38.5 beach bars first. The looks outway the comfort for now. Im sure I will eventually go to the other side once I'm tired of the discomfort! Its only money and you sure as hell cant take it with you!
Your bike is badass among many of the others on this site.
Yep i agree with ya.. I tried them both out also. Like i said i like the style of both bars. Especially BurlyBrand!! Thier bars are wider than most other companies. Which for me was a major deciding factor. The wider the better and don't forget about the bends, BurlyBrand is up to date on thier bend designs.
Also another sweet beachbar set-up is CycleSmith's ... check them out...40"ers with sweet lines.
Yeah, i have 18s but im on the tall side. Gotta love carlinis, I like other bars, but I like my carlinis. Every aspect of them, the stamp they put on them looks sick, and the risers that they offer, great customer service. Yeah, CARLINIs
