Default Dead Brake/Tail light on a 2011 Fatboy lo

It is not working. All of the other lights work. I pulled the seat to look for fuses. I only found a block with 3 fuses. Main Fuse, Battery fuse 15 amp and 1 other 15 amp. Is there a fuse specifically for the Brake/Taillight? If so where is it? Or, do you think I have a wiring problem?

Does the running light work? Does it just not go brighter when you hit front or rear brake or is completely out?

running light is dead also. does not light up at all. I revved it a bit and wiggled wires, but no light at all.

Is it an LED or conventional bulb? If a bulb, is it burned out?

+1, the 2011 bikes got the can bus system. Not something you can easily mess around with as all controlled by the ECM, therefor no fuses like on older bike.

Check under your rear fender, could be the wiring harness touching the tire?

What about the bulb itself?

Also on the 2011s there is a way to reset the lights. This had to be done on mine after a new tail light was installed. I dont remember exactly how they did it but it may be in the owners manual. If not, maybe someone with a service manual can look it up for you.

Take it in and have the dealer look at it. Bike is still under warranty.

Thanks for all of the replies. I am a dummy. It was the bulb itself. I had it dynotuned about a week ago, and I am assuming all of the vibrating caused the bulb to blow. The next step was to take it in to the dealer, although I wanted to ride to work tomorrow. Now I can. Thanks everyone.
