I installed mine by myself with no helper. Did get a little tech support from Drew, which was valuable.

All in all....not too difficult. You will need to remove the rear heat shield in order to get a socket on the rear flange to tighten everything down.

And remember, on the D&D, tighten from the back to the front. Start with the muffler, and work your way forward.

1. Should the pipe be tough to get into the gasket? There's no way I can push it in, so I'm guessing I just put the flange nuts on and start tightening?

2. In the first picture, do I need to remove the bracket that's bolted onto the tranny? It looks like it's in the way.

3. I'm at a loss as to how the muffler bolts on to the stock bracket in the second photo. If I used the original holes the muffler is going to be on a major angle, and if I don't I'll only be able to hold it by one bolt. WTF?

I bought the pipes used, so am I missing hardware?

And yes, in the first picture...that bracket needs to be removed. Just take out the bottom two bolts from the tranny cover, remove the bracket and put the bolts back in. Shouldn't lose any fluid or anything....just do it quick as they say.

I went from back to front the first time I tried putting it on by myself and it turned out bad!! Stripped out the nuts so bad on the front flange that I had to use visegrips to get the stripped nuts off, reset new head bolts because they both came out! The front flange just wouldn't set properly no matter how I moved or torqued down the pipe! After putting new bolts in and doing it the way I described I was totally amazed! I was still snugging up the flanges when my wife said she had the bracket and pipe set! I instantly smiled with joy! (: Btw, I called Drew also for advice as this was his Fat Cat I bought of him!!...........just saying.....
