So sorry to hear that Chap, we know how frustrating it is to have your bike down. I had a bad feeling about this when you mentioned spacers would have to be made by your indy. It's been said that they're a stand up company that's willing to make things good on their dime. If this is correct, I would expect them to cover all extra costs involved in getting their wheels to fit your bike.
Would it be safe to say that if ride wright shipps hundreds DNA ships thousands? I know a couple others with rrw and see them on everyone else's bike at the vyv shows
Yeah, but I rather get a wrong order and get it fixed at no cost (like it happened with my rww) than get cheap, ok looking, crap wheels that are a freakkin time bomb... We've heard everything about DNA, stories to scare riders in halloween season
Mind you, for the amount i have ended up paying out, I could have had 5 DNA rim's?
& I could have swopped them about as they started to wear? & atleast they'd have fit!
Chap sorry for your troubles.I know you are pissed and rightfully so.But I think you are still better off with the RW in the long run. I think you are giving DNA too much credit in assuming they'd fit. Good thing about the RW's are once the problem is fixed its fixed. You don't usually hear of them with flaking powder coat or chrome, loose spokes or leaking air.It sucks you have to wait 2 weeks to hear back. But if they were DNA's from what I have read you would be waiting more like 2 months to hear anything.Hang in there everything will work out.Good Luck man.

I totally disagree... I've had 2 sets of DNA's with NO problems.. NO loose spoke, NO Flaking chrome, NO leaks (running tubes). Also i purchased my DNA's wheels, rotors, and SS pulley from them directly for under $1000.00 shipped. Received them in a few days. At the time of purchase they were out of the SS pulley. But once they had stock they over-nite delivery. YES over-nite for no extra charge. Both wheel purchases i had great customer service... hmmm i guess i'm 1 out of a 1000?
In my case only things i had to have done was new spacers lathed for correct fitment. And my front wheel valve stem opening enlarged 1/32 or so (I hear DNA has since solved this). Which wasn't a big deal at all... Because a HD dealer did it.
All companies have their flaws... All of them. And everybody has their own opinions on parts... but for me i would buy 2 sets (wheels, rotors, pulley) for one set of RW (just wheels) any day.
Last year it was it was f**k DNA... This year its f**k RW... who's next?... lol

well i guess ill let you guys in on my stuff, after the deal with my homie and sam i sold my rrw wheels because i didnt want to send anymore biz that putos way after the way he treated my homie. Well been rocking my dnas for 2 years powder coat is still sick, and chrome still great besides the 2 weeks longer then quoted time they were cool.
I dont care what anybody says, I aint riding around on some DNA, Chinese sweatshop wheels! I live in America and I buy American. I burns my back side to read this crap. Ive owned my own business for 25 years and I know what its like to have growing pains compounded by retard employees who drop the ball and make your business look bad. And if any of you haters run your own show, you know what Im sayin! If all you clock punchers know so much about customer service and business management, step up to the plate and open up your own wheel company where every wheel is perfect and there is never a shipping mistake made. I cant believe there are this many perfect people in one forum, Im truly blessed to be a member.
