Screwed up my clutch adjustment

If you pulled it during the adjustment though, it went too far and 'flipped.'

Loosen the cable adjusters, pull the cover, ( you'll have to loosen the exhaust,) and put the ramp lever back down to about 6:00 O'clock. (Stretch the cable taught down there, in other words.)

Re-assemble, ( make sure the 3 ***** stay in their groove in the ramp,) then re-adjust your clutch pack, and then your cable in that order.

And remember: Never pull on the clutch lever DURING adjustment!

Ur not the 1st to do it.

I've seen exactly the same problem and fix Posted in here at least a hundred times through the yrs I've been here.

My question is why would an '11 with less than 3k miles need to be adjusted. Or is it just a "break in" adjustment?

Did mine today and remembered to not touch the hand lever if the 'basket' is loosened up. Everything went fine and I'll pass that info on for sure.
