I agree. I have an Acura rsx type s. Same motor. 200hp in a little 4 banger. It moves but I don't think it moves like my stage 1 deuce. But maybe up in the higher speeds? I just hit a buck 10 in the type s going up a hill the other day and was only in 4th with 2 more gears... Maybe it would smoke my Harley now that I think about it

Spend some cash, have spent about 20% more than purchase price to get 105 TQ & 110 HP

2008 FLSTF, 103 Kit, 53mm TB, PC V with Autotune, S&S 625 cams & springs, Heavy Breather AC, Ported heads & high comp pistons, D&D Lowcats.

Goes like a train, sounds amazing and now I have a quick-shifter I reckon most Porsches would have trouble keeping up through to 130mph.

There are quicker bikes but none that have the ball tearing, gut wrenching presence of my black beauty!!

That being said there are a lot of cars that will smoke you on the top end. Standing start you can kiss most of them goodbye

I have had it past 110, and top speed on the dyno was about 165 mph. I don't plan on matching it on the street.
Ugh. Was at the dealer yesterday looking at options and prices and was told that the SE204 might be a bit too hot as the powerband rolls up to 6.2k and I should really go with an SE203, but looking at your dyno, that looks spot on for where I ride.

Good thing you guys never pulled up next to a mildly modded VW

andrews 37, 95" top end, some headwork and a thunderheader will cure the "sissy" bike problem for good.

Thanks for all the good advise on the the cams. Like most of ya"ll have said looking for a good street cam, and not "wanting" a drag bike. Talked with dealer and if i have them do cam job its right around $1k, same place I can get a 103 stg III for $1700.... Im guessing i will def enjoy the added inches with a cam than just cam alone right?

Thanks again fellas

Well as i was merging onto the highway, i was behind a car and after we got in right lane i went to pass him on the left. Well as i got beside him, he punched it, well so do i.... now we are 45ish to 100mph. problem is that he was right beside me the whole time, believe it was a Civic. Now i know Misty aint build for speed and performance, but really???

After 90mph bike just aint got nothing left... (2 questions)
1. is that normal for a bike with stage 1?
2. what cam will fix this problem?
To answer your question, the best I know how:
1.Install cams
2.Stop racing "Old Civics"

is that $1700 installed for the stg III or the kit it's self? B/c if not you are likely looking at another $1500 or more for it to be installed at the dealer and then you need to ask that question, do I really want to spend that much for how much gain you actually will get?

Probably not what some of you want to hear, but I dont see the point in tuning these motors, OK they might go a little faster in a straight line, still wont corner well though, some of the comments about arm wrenching accelleration, make me smile as I suspect there are a lot of people here who have not owned or ridden a sports bike, I'm talking about bikes that will loft the front wheel in the lower gears from power alone, no clutch, no pulling of the bars, just sheer power.
I came over to Harley to slow down and enjoy the ride. just dont see the point in overtuning a motor that a chassis cant handle.
