folding them completely up shouldnt be an issue, if they ever got to where the needed to be folded all the way while riding,i think the floorboards are the least of your worries. honestly, there is tons of aftermarket stuff out there requires other mods to make fit and work, passenger peg relocating, removal, frame horn removal, etc. im sure the boards fold up plenty for cornering, but if you drag them alot, maybe raising the bike would be an idea?
im gonna deal with it cause i love the look and sound ,,like i said i tightened up the 1 side so it dosent damage the sheild , haven said that they should at least tell u it dosent clear so after everything is in stalled and u go to park back in the garage and try to put up ur board as u usually do to save space (to walk by) thats all ..thankgod i did it easy and only put a minute scratch thats hard to see...ohh well im keepem them anyway just wanted to be heard,,and also i agree aftermarket parts need some other mods . but the company usually sells it to u or tells u what u need.
thats a good idea right there. the harleygoodies ext. move the boards out and add a great deal of comfort. they dont cost much and they are a site sponsor.
i was thinkin of the harley goodies if it gets to be a problem i will have to do that. but further out will decrease the lean angle on turns even more.. but i guess what else can i do
Hmmm, I have the Big Shots Staggered (which I think is the same exhaust just longer) on my Lo and I can lift the board at least a few inches. I lift it up all the time when I am cleaning the mounting bracket. Wierd...

not noticeable. I ride rather aggressively and don't really notice any more or less grinding in the corners than before I put the goodies on. They are a great addition, much more comfortable for me.
@ rednose i have an 2012 with abs (just puttin that out there) the big shots come with spacers , and the shot shots staggerds dont , v and h designed them with out spacers. @fcsallan the harley goodies will extend the board enough to flex up and down without hitting the heatsheild..(im hopping)
