Default Heritage rear fender sticker...

Whats the deal with the heavy sticker under the passenger seat?

Yeah I figure its there to protect the fender from the seat when its on...
and it appears to be a pain in the neck to take off...

Input?

I think some run a fender bib to hide it when running a solo seat and it's still there for when a two-up seat is needed.

Covered mine with a bib, but it looked to peel off easy enough...

Took off the passenger pillion and put on a motherwell solo rack, had to peel that thing off and clean it up with goo-gone. It was stuck on pretty well.

Easy to remove with a hair dryer or heat gun. It can be replaced ceap enough for about $13. The under side of my stock pillion doesn't looke like there would be any metal to metal contact and I don't two up often so I removed it. None of the fender bibs I've looked at seem like they'd cover it.

I had to trim the edges of the sticker on my Lo so the fender bib would completely cover it, and It came off easy. The fender on my springer is scuffed from the passenger pillion because it did not have any protection. The sticker is probably a good thing IMO.

Its to protect the paint from Ur stock seat.

I made my fender bib out of the old stock seat and I left the clear film on the fender to keep protecting it.

It comes off easy but takes a little work to get all the glue off. I attached a black microtowel to the bottom the pillion when it on.
