Yep, Have the same issue. Over time, the fuel vapors gets to the adhesive, and causes it to release. Unfortunatly, on the wifes custom paint, it also caused the paint beneth it to soften, making permenant removal impossible..

May have to go with the kuryakan set to elliminate this issue.

Hmm, no tank light on mine, but the dots all work. Isn't the tank light only supposed to come on when you're in the reserve?

Just put mine on along with new speedo/tach.

According to the other post and the instructions, at least for this I guess current version, the pump light should stay on, on the gauge cap.

That's a sweet looking setup! Thinking I need to eventually freshen up my speedo and with pics like that it's hard to wait. LOL

If I got a dummy cap for the fuel gauge and didn't use one at all, would I still get the the "miles to reserve" readout on the console or no? Thanks
