I was also concerned about this. Do you scrape the floorboards often?

Warrick, get on ebay and check out voodoo041672's store. He will have front fork kits listed in gloss or matte powdercoate. I think they go for 150$, will def save you some money, he may be able to hook you up with those accent strips as well. I went through him, got a wrinkle black primary and front fork setup for a total of 300$, very affordable. It will take close to 10 days to get your items, but the money saved is well worth it in my opinion. Just check out the fat boy front end parts, same as your slim front end........

It was two weeks before I rode all day without scraping....now I do it for fun and the edges of the boards are worn nearly to the flat.....I like skipping the board over road dots.....we have a lot of 180's here in the mountains and keeping the board down all the way around is a hoot....yes, I'm an old crotch rocket rider and I've never had more fun on a bike..........

I've scraped my fat boy lo probably a half a dozen times, I don't ride very hard, but it def wakes me up when it starts scraping. Happens much more frequently when riding 2 up!

Here's my situation. I'm really interested in the Slim. I love the Fat Boys but I'm too short for one. I rode my buddy's one time and going down the road i felt fine on it and it rode beautiful but I couldnt back it up to save my life cause my feet barely touch the ground. I currently own a 03 super glide. When I bought it it had a bad lander seat and forward controls which made me have to stretch out my legs to reach them, especially if I was wearing sneakers. so I put a reduce reach seat on it which made it perfect. I'm currently in Afghanistan and thinking about getting a quote through the military harley dealers out here. I'm 5'5", so I'm wondering how well I would fit on this bike? Thanks
