If you need to replace the whole key ignition switch, may be use one from a Rocker, they don't have that feature. Just a key and the run/off switch on the handle bars

I have a 2013 Blackline my ignition switch *** come loose also...
I caught it in time. Before I lost it.
But my ignition switch will not go in the lock position,to let me take the key out,, it will only let me take key out in the run position BUT My bike don't stay running. I can hold the KEY IN THE ignition switch in one position an the bike will start and STAY RUNNING If I shake the ignition switch and the bike will die out die out.

what sucks is the lever is no longer available by itself. They now have to replace sell you the whole unit.
Yeah, eff the MoCo. The switch design blows. H-D would sell the lever like crazy if they would just make the part available again. Instead, guys who need it balk at paying 200 bucks for the whole switch just to get the damn lever. They walk out of the dealership and figure out some other work-around. So H-D is screwing themselves out of $$. Dopes
I have a buddy with a Bridgeport. I'm gonna fly a little project past him next time I see him.......

Hope you have better luck selling them than I did. Only one I got rid of I gave away to a fellow forum member.
I didn't think I was too far out on price at $32 including shipping.
My husband's friend borrowed his 2011 Blackline and part fell off. Since original part is discontinued we bought this rubber bushing and he said it works great...its rubber so you can get ahold of it better than slipping on metal.
Pardon me for bumping threads but I cannot find a solution and he ones currently offered on ebay are from the UK or have a shoddy review. If anyone has this ****, part number 71796-11, a wrecked 2011-2016 Breakout, a spare, whatever, please contact me. I am getting used to using the key but don’t want to do this indefinitely. I am willing to buy an extra someone might have, but I have also seen some crafty folks CNC, 3D print, etc. some solutions and would be happy with that as well. Thanks.
