Have to see a picture of your grips before we can tell you if you'll have to replace them or not. If you have straight bars or low (like 1 1/2") risers, yes you'll have to replace the cables. If you have taller bars or like 6" risers, maybe not. You should be able to find a complete set of take-offs with bars from somebody (like me) who just pulled all that off their bike to install a set of taller apes.
