For those of you with Magnum Chromite II braided cables (or other chrome/stainless cables), what did you use to cover the adjustment nuts on your throttle/idle cables? I used my stock black one to cover it on my clutch cable but its up against the frame and blends well. But if I use the stock black ones on the throttle/idle cables it will stick out like a sore thumb IMO. So.... what are some solutions?
Mine have been on since the spring and like I said they are doing fine so far without the covers. That being said I live in the desert so protecting them from the elements is pretty much a non issue for me, no rain or even humidity to worry about. Not sure if it would be an issue if you road in the rain a lot. I got a couple buddies that have had theirs exposed for a lot longer than mine and theirs are fine too, one of the guys had some minor surface rust on the threads but it came right off. Not sure what conditions your bike sees thou....

I live in Cali so it rarely seems any bad weather. I don't have to ride in the rain, so I don't. Lol
