So I am lookin at the freakin ultima 113ci motor, $3800 delivered, it says for "single fire ignition coils". Question, does my 1990 evo 1340 softail have "single fire igition coils"??? or will I need to buy some parts. Thanx for any info.

Dude... Loved the build and thread so far.

Imho, that 80" evo is the soul of the bike. If you replace it with a crate engine... You will regret it. Just my 0.002 cents. It's your ride...

Ahhhh, I was sippin jack and coke last night. That always causes trouble. Didnt hit the buy it botton. I am probably just gonna go with a S+S super E carb to bring a bit more performance to the Evo.

 

Now you're talking. You can always do other upgrades also. You are only going to get X-amount of performance out of a Harley. It is what it is. If you want to go fast, go play on the 2-stroker, or get a cheap used metric for the price if that ebay engine.
