Thanks for the replies. I do plan on staying with HD plugs of one kind or another. Only reason I've been replacing them is because the manual says to inspect them every 5,000 miles and replace them at 20,000. If I pull them to inspect them their gasket washer has already been crushed so I just throw new ones in. They have looked fine so maybe I'll just call it quits on "inspecting" them every 5,000?
You can put them back in. Done it dozens of times, won't hurt anything. A little anti seize and snug em up, good to go.
