Default 2000-2005 Rear Pulley Bolts

I'm doing the Heartland 250 conversion on my '88 FLST. I need to use a 2000-2005 pulley, which I just ordered. I was going to order a bolt kit but I haven't really seen anything I like. I'm an engineer and deal with a hardware vendor who can pretty much get me anything I want. So my question is, can someone please confirm the bolt specs for me?? I've found some info saying they are 7/16-14 x 2-1/4" long. Thanks!!

I literally just changed mine out 2 days ago. I bought the 2.25" and got to my garage only to notice that the ones i took out were 2.5". I am now wondering if it's ok to keep the 2.25" in there. Has me worried, should I be? Looking through the wheel I see there is easily another 1/2" of threads left. Is the 2.25" bolts getting enough bite?

Interesting. Maybe I'll go with the 2.5" since I'm planning on using a split lock washer along with the flat or just a single belleville washer.

Quick Q, I believe the manual calls for "yellow" loctite but I've yet to find any, what do you all use?

Don't know about yellow. Sorry. And I'm a little hesitant to even use red. Per the manufacturer, blue is to be used on bolted joints that will have to be disassembled at some point with regular hand tools. Red is for permanent joints and the only way to break the joint would be to heat it up to 500 degrees.
