I made the adjustment. I believe that I have it tighten to the correct specs. I still have a little slack in the drive line somewhere as I can fill it when I go from light load with no throttle to giving throttle to move it has some gap feeling before it move the bike.

Anyone have any suggestions?
Hmmm, how much slack do you suppose there is in a brand spankin' new transmission?

I took it to the local HD dealer. They say it's normal but it wasn't doing it before I had the tire changed. I really am getting to a point where I done. It really seems hard to find a good shop with a knowledgeable tech that can diagnose issues and not just replace parts.

Beyond failing to adjust the final drive belt properly, it's hard to think of anything about a tire change which would increase driveline slack. So don't be too hard on 'em until you know more about what's going on. It might even be you, in a heightened state of awareness after a known change, as opposed to a real change.
Maybe so. Maybe I'm just getting old and expect something from the bike it is not going to do. I rode a new Diavel and that thing was tight and precise. Might be that.
Be careful, if it's too tight some folks say it puts too much pressure on the bearing...
Not just some folks, the factory. 1" deflection in the rear belt is fine and 5/8 on the primary chain in the minimum you want. Check your ball and ramp system. Sounds like there might be an issue there
My manual says 3/8" to 1/2" with 10 pounds of pressure on the upper strand at the mid point. I would think that 1" would be way to much, but maybe the Deuce is different than my old 99 Softail Custom.
