I think they are blowing smoke. All it is, is a rubber seal that can be pushed right back in place. If anything it's actually a bit tighter because powder coating has been added.

Just be careful when removing. It is better to push from the back of the light than pry it out.

I don't see ( if you are careful) you are doing anything different than when it was originally installed.

This is holding me back from powdercoating the fender struts too.

Dielectric Compound is your friend. We gob it on dive hat electrical connectors before diving 100's of feet doing sub-sea oilfield work. Pretty sure it'll keep the rain outa your tail light connections.

Yes I did. I haven't had any issues and I've been in the rain a few times and washed the bike plenty. Like other members have said...if you do it right I don't see a problem.

I'll be doing a review on my new Corbin seat (with electric heat!) in a few days, after I've had a chance to ride with it enough to make meaningful observations.

Here's a teaser photo:

and, yes, it's leather, and it's designed to take a passenger for more than the 20 minutes that the stock one allows.

Mustang doesn't make their seats leather.

Does the pillion come off on this one, or is it all one piece. Let's see a side view, that thing looks pretty chunky.
