Cool I just finished up my latest tune so I have a couple different versions to send ya. I got everything running how I like it, I just have an occasional shift pop on 1-2 and 2-3 shifts in the 2.5k to 3.5k RPM range. It used to do it really bad in the 4k RPM range (like a damn shotgun going off), but I got that eliminated by working with the Closed Throttle Spark F/R tables. Now I just gotta work on the lower rpm range a bit.
Really cool how detailed you can get with tunes. I'm at a point where I can make the decel popping come back or go away by editing the Decel Enleanment tables. This can be managed in the VE tables as well in the decel-specific areas, but I'm not that good yet by a long shot.
Has anyone here installed 8 to 10 in risers on their Breakout's? Looking to see if anyone has gone the Thug/club route
Was really thinking of a thug or club look, but... I would like to make some more riser spacers that would be about 8" instead of the 1.75" tall that i just did. Mainly just to see how it felt. I like the stock bar look. If it looked ok and felt good i Could do cable And wire extension work afterwards .

And of course, if you do this you'll post some pics right?
I tried 10" risers on my Big Dog chopper, it looked cool but rode like crap for anything other than a straight line. i suppose if i got used to it then it would be fine but it was just too "off" feeling for me.
Hey guys anyone asking me for one of my PV tune files that's totally cool- But please only ask if you have a Breakout 103 with S/E intake and VH 2-2 pipes like mine. If you have other VH 2-2 pipes like the Big Shots / Short Shots it should still be ok. - but if you have a 2-1 Pro pipe or a 107/110/120 ci motor it will be very different.
Otherwise, my tune files will be pretty much worthless to you since your engine's VE requirements will be quite different than mine. If the VE's in my tune are too far off from what your engine needs your bike will run like crap. The VE's need to be close first before anything else is usefully tunable.
Granted, even the same 103 with same S/E and VH pipes will have different VE than mine, but the mechanical aspects are all the same so the VE's and other parameters in my tune should be close enough to start with and tune from there.
I'll still send them to anyone who asks but you've been warned .
Check out this thread and post questions / needs - The most recent 10 pages or so are up to date and this is a very active thread- Really smart guys there that know tuning and the PV2- They have helped me immensely with everything I presently know. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/ignit...admin-702.html

Just a quick shout out to LA Dog. Great guy!!! He sent me some of his tunes that Im fixin to try out if I can get a damn break from work and ride to go grab some lunch lol. He didn't hesitate to send me the tunes and explain the differences between them and what not. Awesome members like him make these forums great. Thanks again bro and I'll let you know the outcome.
Thanks brother no big deal, just passing on what other more knowledgeable members here have taught me. Considering all this forum has given me in regard to learning about my Breakout, mods, etc, I'm happy to be able to contribute something useful. Hope the info I sent you gets you started on the right tuning track.

Yeh they are cheap if you have a drill press, lathe, mill and / or a CNC machine. Or are you just hitting the pipe section at Home Depot? LOL
Anyway kidding aside looking forward to seeing the mock up if you do it.

A big +1 to that! I had the same experience with sharing feedback on lessons learned. Stand up guy without question.
