I like the material, but this is just my opinion, it should be darker. maybe it's just the photo but it looks too light of a gray. A more charcoal gray would probably blend better between the chrome and black parts of bike. The dash piece would probably look nicer with covering the chrome too with same material. just leave the very center emblem uncovered.
I like where you're going with it though, just my own perspective on the shade of gray.
After seeing and then installing the the black line dash, nothing compares anymore. Whether it's black, chrome, or paint matched, that black line dash just blows away anything you can do with the stock setup.

Welcome! True, it's pretty nice especially if you want to go black. Although the CVO dash is very nice as well. I only like mine better because it's different
so hey I was out testing some tune files today and I'm just getting so darn comfortable with the improved handling of the bike. had to hit some of the canyon roads near my house so I could test the pull from 2500-up and overall transition from cruise to roll-on. A lot of tight turns and I just rode pretty much normal except I don't bother to slow as much for turns anymore.
I got home and noticed my "Chicken strip" is about at the outside edge of tire. That's pretty amazing compared to how it was before I swapped the front springs and tires. I couldn't get near that much edge tire use before without scraping peg or feeling unsteady.
No peg scraping at all on either sides. I touched my heel once lightly but that was it.
Money well spent
