Dog, what's your take on the pulley change, or have you ride in it yet? I figure it will drop the tq curve to come on about 100 rpm earlier. The earlier the better imo. For the money it's not a bad deal since I like the look of the sporty pulley.

I just ordered the pulley on Sunday so I probably won't have it put on for a couple weeks. Dynaunder has the full scoop and I see that he already replied-

What did you end up setting your "pulse-per-km" value to for the speedometer correction? I did the math but would be good to compare to your actual setting.

just checked with Surdyke, they will have the 68t pulley in on Wednesday from HD and then ship it out. Surdyke does not sell the pulley bolts or washers, so you'll have to order elsewhere or from your local dealer. You need the 7/16-14 x 1-3/4 hex bolts for 2007-up XL1200, PN 3899, and the washers 7/16 X 1-1/8 X 1/8 PN 6516HW

You can get these at hardware store but just be sure the bolts are Grade 8. You'll need some blue locktight as well. The bolts from HD come with lock compound already on the threads.

Morning K , I do have a Screaming Eagle tuner, I don't think it has Speedometer correction , for every one feed back what I loved with this change , is the roll on power delivery at 2200 rpm in 6 gear, I only look at the speedo when cruising at 2200 rpm chick back two gears and see the rpm climb to 4500/5000 rpm in 5th and 6th gear , and my smile is wider then my helmet viser and then sanity set in and get down to the 2200 rpm in 6th . Nice feeling

Be safe Dynaunder

So you didn't have to make any computer changes? Does everything on the bike still work correctly?

Excellent! I love my drag bars, but I can't deal with staring at my shoulders, so will the 1.5" risers raise the bars, and how about pullback? is there that much difference?
