I'd take a well built 107" over a 110" any day of the week.
Thanks LA, then we are talking another 20K , I guess ? Would be nice just to do it ha ha
All parts are more expensive here than in US and shipping from US is also expensive.

$20k? LOL, no way. I'd budget $3k. A lot of the cost depends on whether you do the work yourself or pay a shop. but the kits themselves are not that bad on price.

go see Fuel Moto's 107" kits http://www.fuelmotousa.com/p-28617-1...-bore-kit.html

or check out AMS Moto Machine, very high quality 107" kits at very good price. http://www.amsmotomachine.com/index....p-harley-parts

the added expense of the 107" kit is upgrading the 46mm throttle body with 3.6 injectors, to 50mm and larger 4.9 injectors. the stock 3.6 injectors are only good for 100hp maximum and the 46mm throttle body won't flow enough air for a 107" with performance heads.

If you have a shop there that does throttle body boring, you can buy a used stock 46mm throttle body off ebay for about $50 - they are all the same 46mm throttle body for 2007-up softail / dyna non touring bikes. have it bored out to 50mm, about $100 in labor, and add a set of SE 4.9 injectors, $120 / pair. If you can't get that done then you can buy an aftermarket 51mm throttlebody from Horsepower, Inc. complete with 4.9 injectors for about $500.

You'll need better cams something like a T-Man 625 http://tmanperformance.com/Cams/t-man-625/ or equivalent specification from Woods, Andrews. $300
Gaskets, oil, etc another couple hundred.

LA I will never get any sleep if I continue to listen to you ! Man I wish I had your knowledge and skills.
Since I need a mechanic each time, I guess I'll have to pay X 2-3 of what you have to pay, so I should focus on the pulleys and enjoy that upgrade first.
To do the engine upgrade to a 107 I'll need to figure out the rules here. Bikes need a Shaken ( MOT) every 2 year.
Thanks

Awwww come on brother, it's only money- and I see that nice 911 in the background of your sig pic.

just kidding- you know how it is, the mods never stop. you'll be pretty happy with the pulley upgrades and that will hold you for a little while.

So what are the details on the "Shaken"? Is it like a safety / legal check, a smog check? Just curious. I grew up in Hawaii and we had this stupid "safety check" on all vehicles every year. still going on today. every place has it's different rules, some sillier than others.

Too many bills to pay, thats the problem

For the Shaken they check everything for safety, noise, pollution and if you change the engine size you will have to register it again, what is also VERY costly (about 1000US ) was the answer from the Stealership.
I'll have to install my stock pipes and stock map before the Shaken so yeah its a real hassle.

It's the same here in Germany....every two years. Only here you won't have to reset the map. As long as all parameters are within the tolerances you're gonna pass. But same for all parts that you might have installed and which are not considered "street legal".

To be honest I'm not sure about if I have to reset the map, but since it's easy to do with the power vision I'll prefer to do it when I know they will check the exhaust !
I'll also have to register the apes next time.

wow that sux. even the bars? so who actually does the Shaken- the dealer or a government provided facility? that's really odd you have to re-register the motor on an engine volume size change- I mean the block is the same and same serial number, the engine itself looks identical whether it is a 96, 103 or 107. but changing cams is ok?

oh well gotta just suck it up and go with the flow right?
