sweet!!!i like that prolly gonna take that idea...what is it made out of?..abs or steel
If I remember well should be ABS, just need to fab a simple bracket to have to he spoiler fitting ABS equipped Softails. It comes unpainted or in various colors including vivid black if I remember well. Glad you like the idea!
I am looking to change out my control levers for my 2016 breakout. I want to go black but can not find anything besides the stock harley ones. Everything else I look at say they are not for FXSB. Looking for something like the deep cut arlin ness or something "Cool"
any suggestions or ideas would greatly help.
THanks
^^ Check out RSD, Performance Machine or XtremeMachine. a lot of them will fit current softail / dyna even though FXSB is not specifically listed. you'll probably need to call if you see a particular style you like. PM has very good customer service and tech support.
Just closed the deal today on a 2014 Amber Whiskey. My first HD.
Bone stock less a sissy bar, 5k miles....
thinking V&A big shots in black, screaming eagle cone filter to start... any recommendations of where to look next?
-pegs, grips- of course coming soon too.

Congrats! post up some pix- we like that stuff. I would get a tuning product like the FP3 or Powervision. You're going to need it. Do not buy the SE tuners! just say "no".
Consider upgrading your belt pulleys to 30/68 or 30/70. Excellent performance gain- you'll pee. seriously.
get better tires. metzeler, higher end dunlops, or pirelli night dragons. makes a very big difference with ride quality and handling.
with the above and a good tune you should be pretty happy for some time. later on you can throw in a set of cams to top it all off.
these are the basics I did to my bike and it is fast as crap-ola for the money spent. [[[edited]]] Whoops sorry missed the 2014, not 2016. you don;t really need the 50mm tb or bigger injectors until you do cams. even then maybe not. plenty guys running mild cams and stock 46mm tb and 3.9 injectors. it really comes down to how the bike runs after you do the cams.

Reason: typo
50mm TB with upgraded injectors is a smart mod...and I do confirm also my BO improved the sound after this mod...congrats LA_Dog!
No joke at all brother- the bike sounds like a mean dragon now. that 50mm tb and 4.9 injectors woke it right up. mainly because I'm now seeing better fuel tuning in my logs. no more wild swings in afr ratio at higher map. no more excessive rear cylinder knock. i think the smaller injectors were having a tough time of it. the extra air flow does not hurt either and I actually picked up more TQ. it's like i got banana peels under the reare tire off the line. hah.
good test rides today indeed! log look good- just some fine tuning from here on out. now I'm getting the benefit of the cams.

Amber Whisky is IMHO interesting in that both black and chrome themes look good on it. Either way, you've got a tremendous resource in this thread and mod ideas to keep you and your wallet busy for a long time .
