Anyone who doesn't perform LADog's front suspension repair/mod doesn't know what they're missing. That mod positively transforms the bike.
Other folks have said it, but it bears repeating .... ditching the factory tires and fixing the front suspension should be the first two items on every owners list.

At low city traffic speeds, it's not airFLOW (you are sitting still a lot, not moving at all), its heat RADIATION that is cooling the 2 cylinders as best it can. The spoiler interferes with that radiation - it gets in the way of any air convection that you might at least otherwise get because of the temperature differential of the hot air right by the cylinder versus the cooler air right below it.
The oil cooler is not much help either when there is no, or very low, forward speed.
I think it is unwise to do anything that degrades the already very marginal cooling of an HD engine. That engine needs as much UNobstructed access to air as we can possibly give it.
