Default Old School Breakout / Maybe a Springer

I'm in the process of doing some Old School stuff to my 2013 Breakout.
Just had some pinstriping done and Harley Davidson pained on the tank in script.
I'm planning on powder coating the wheels and possibly doing a springer front end. I'd like for the stock caliper to just bolt-up to it.

I keep eyeballing the unbreakable front forks for mine. But 6k euros is a little high. Lol

Default New exhaust for my 2018

I just ordered a new exhaust for my 2 week old baby! A Two Brothers Racing 2 into one. It will arrive in about 2 weeks, too bad it wont be here before I roll into Reno for Street Vibations next week, my current stock set up is embarrassingly quite! But whatever, At least I'm going, anyway the custom bike shop I ordered through has a dyno and will tune it up nice, can't wait to wake this 114 up!

Two Bros, very nice stuff! I have the slipons on my 15. Had to have quality for my bike and they surpassed the expectation.

I haven't been on here for a while, kids / life, what have you but I have been managing to put a few miles on my breakout.

As a result I am looking for some new tyres, I'm going to get the Avon cobras, a 250 rear (a search showed up a guy had one fitted to his rocker with 2mm belt clearance) but I am unsure of the front sizing.

From what I've read the 130/60 Dunlop fitted as standard is considered by some to be incorrect and they have gone ahead with a 120/70 instead. Can anyone comment on this?

The Avon cobra fronts have a much sharper radius on the tread profile which will make the tip in much quicker so I'm concerned that if I go with the narrower tyre that this will be further exaggerated?

Not to worry just found this on Avons site where they recommend the 120/70

FXSB Breakout / FXSBSE CVO Breakout / FS2 (2013 onwards)
Front Tyre
Cobra
Pressure front: 2.5 bar (36psi)
Front size: 120/70-21 68V TL also 130/60B21 63H TL
Rear Tyre
Cobra
Pressure rear: 2.8 bar (40psi)
Rear size: 240/40VR18 (79V)

Yes, I have been running the Avon 120/70 and it is a MASSIVE improvement. Like I have said before,it was like the bike lost a pair of cement overshoes.

Sorry this topic has been discussed through and through, but I wanted to bring it up in the Breakout thread since most in here are riding the same bike.

Currently, I'm running my 2014 with stock Dunlop tires at PSI of 36F/40R cold. They have a little more than 4500 miles on them. 40 splits the difference between the manual recommended 42 and the general rider opinion of 38. I did ride at 42 on rear for a bit just to see if there would be any noticeable difference in the ride and there wasn't. I rarely ride 2-up and for that reason, don't generally use the max 42 on rear (correct me if I'm wrong).

Observing the wear, the front seems fine, but the rear may be starting to have disproportionate center line wear. Since it's made to be somewhat of a drag bike, wouldn't it make sense to lower the rear tire PSI somewhat for more tread and contact? I'm considering riding at 36F/38R.

What are your experiences on this matter? I don't drag or burn out, and I'm looking for a ballpark number of miles to expect for the life of these as well as to know if anyone has noticeable difference on tread life or ride handling at different settings.

Thanks in advance. In keeping with the spirit of the thread, I'll also share a pic of my steel horse.
