If you decide to use top plate you will need to order new top plate screws, or it will leak fuel without the new sealing screws and then paint will be damaged.

that's why I did the video as a alternative. The bracket specs are in the description. I didn't want to open the tank and fight leaks.i spent the top plate money I saved on a flush mount gas cap

well f that ..ill make the tab..maybe surdyke will take it back..fml i swear..that thig is 80 bucks

Yea I seen where you didn't order screws didn't know if you where going to use plate since they were charging restock fee which is crazy because you are paying return shipping. I made tab when I put mine on 4years ago and worked just fine

they are taking it back no restock...looks like i got the shipping but thats fine i guess...i fab alotta stuff that tab isnt anyhting special..ill probly use aluminum...thanks for the tip sir...i like saving money and messin with all the fueling stuff just seemed like alotta extra work...great tip!!!!!!

Just swapped out my black oil tank for a chrome one on my 2015 Breakout. Looking to sell the black one if anyone is interested. Shoot me a PM if interested.

my next project...might want it painted to match color tho....on the fence but the chrome ones are nice
