Well at $75 I just couldn't pass it up. The new price is $229 I believe.

I got it mounted without any problems.
It helped that I read not to tighten the bolts until it gets mounted on the bike.

I was concerned that it was going to look odd being so much bigger than the stock shield, however being clear I think helps that a lot. I think if it was the tinted version the 20" model might be more noticeable and perhaps a bit odd looking, but maybe not. Looks are in the eye of the beholder.

The person I bought it from stated that she got it because she had a vibration on her Deluxe at highway speeds and she read that this klock werks windshield helped that. She stated that this shield all be stopped that vibration.

She just traded in her Deluxe for a Road King. Her husband has an Ultra and they are about to retire and plan on starting long haul riding and she wanted a stereo and cruise.

Also, being 5'8" I was concerned that looking through the shield would be an issue, but according to the previous owner (about 5' 6") she said she got used to that.

Once the snow is gone and the weather warms up a bit, I'll get it out and see what the changes are.
I'll post my thoughts after that ride.

Thanks all for all the opinions.

OK it's been a couple of months and since I hate it when people don't follow-up on their threads I'll provide an update.

The Klock Werks Flare windshield is pretty much all that Klock Werks claims it is.

On my 09 Heritage my Wife complained of helmet buffering at highway speeds.
Yesterday we went out on our first 2-up ride since the addition of the Klock Werks windshield.

Per my Wife, the purchase was well worth it.
She stated that the buffering is all but gone.

So my in my opinion even at the new price of I believe $229, knowing what I know now, I'd certainly pay that for this windshield.

So if if the Wife is complaining of wind buffering, get the 21" Klock Werks Flare windshield.

Yes I am very happy with the shield and knowing what I do now about it, I would purchase a new one even though I got a deal on mine.
As for the deflectors I use:
http://www.harley-davidson.com/store...wind-deflector

I do leave my stock 17" shield on for local traveling.
The stock shield is just big enough to give me the needed protection while still maintaining a typical Heritage look.

I was able to find used mounting hardware for $30.
I put the hardware on the Klock Werks shield so I can swap it off with my stock one quickly.

The Wife and I just got back yesterday from a 3 hour ride and I wouldn't have dreamed of taking the ride without the Klock Werks shield.

My Wife absolutely loves it because she no longer gets buffering.

As for the bike performance, I really don't notice anything different other than my mpg is lowered with the Klock Werks probably because of the increased wind deflection.

There are a few things to consider.
1) it's big so it takes some getting used to.
2) as mentioned because it's big and deflects more air, my mpg drops about 3 mpg while on the highway.
3) At 5'8" my field of view is about 2" below the top of the shield, which I got used to quickly but I hear some people hate looking through the shield.

So to answer your question again, yes I am happy with the shield and highly recommend it for 2-up riding but I could take it or leave it if it's just me riding solo.
