It is a classc example of passing judgment on something that I had no real first hand experience with. The bike I now have and ride will probably be my last bike unless I hit the lottery or other wise were to win one or any other way of wishful thinking.

Don't worry, I didn't take your question as judgment. I probably would have went with 1.50" if I had Telescopic forks.
Shotgun Shocks are my next planed mod. Just got to save up the cabbage and then hide the receipt from my wife.
