Default Bag-R-Box Heritage bag inserts

I was just surfing around and came across this product.
http://www.bag-r-box.com

It looks like a simple but good idea.
I've been on the forum for a couple of years and haven't seen any mention of this.

I ordered two of them so after I get them I'll add my review of them.

I have the Got Saggy Bags www.gotsaggybags.com inserts to help it keep the shape. They came highly recommended by the dealership instead of using HDs.

Apparently you didn't visit the website or watch the youtube video.

This is not a bag shaper but rather just an insert tray.

BTW, I've got "GotSaggyBags" as well and have been real happy with it.

+1 on the saggybags insert, works great and keeps the bags looking better than factory.

Too bad, Bluraven. Your post about the bag-r-box has degenerated into a gotsaggybags plug.

The bag-r-box is actually a good idea. I have tossed small items into my bags and then had to search for them. Thanks for posting. I haven't heard about this either.

For what it is worth, I have the HD flat top and lock kit to keep my bags in shape. It has worked well over two years.

I've got two of those in my bags on my Heritage. They are handy to keep stuff easy to get to, gloves, registration etc. you have to trim them up at little bit.

Looks like a good idea. I use a windshield bag and that does help with some small stuff.

OK I got my two "Bag-R-Box" insert trays today.
Real quick shipping (3 days).

The total price including shipping was around $51.

My first impression is these are pretty much just simple trays, because that's exactly what they are.
I can see where-as someone could fabricate something similar to this however you can say that for just about anything. That's doesn't mean you could fabricate something better.

Pros: Light weight, unobtrusive to the bag, serves the purpose.

Cons: Kinda pricey for you what you get, however if more were sold I imagine the price would come down. Had to trim about a half inch off, which really isn't a "con" but it's not "plug-n-play" either. If you have bag stiffeners like I have (GotSaggyBags), they will not fit over the bag's plastic lip piece so that has to come out. However the tray itself does kinda take the place of that plastic piece. The tray is made of hard plastic so I can see things sliding around. I added a piece of carpet to counter this.

So in summary:
For around $20 one would be a decent buy. I ended up paying $25.79 each for two including shipping which I feel is a bit high in price, however I think I will get good use out of one of them. I didn't trim the second one because I think one will be enough for my use, so I may just give away or sell the other one. I think this is a simple good idea that is a good product. I give it a score of 7 out of 10. It would be a 10 or 10 if the total price include shipping was around $20 each.

yes, you're right...couldn't watch the video at the time I posted, so "did" assume it was a support system. I sinced watched the video, and it is a good idea! I'm sure it would be nice to keep some small stuff or microfiber cloths clean and out of the bottom of the bag.

Sorry for jumping the gun too soon, and thanks for the info!
