remove and clean with wire brush grounds and starting circuit connections then apply dielectric grease and re-tighten.

Once all your cable connections are cleaned and properly tightened you still may have to charge your battery.
I had a friend call me up and ask if I could come over and help figure out why his bike wouldn't start. When I got there I sat on it, flipped the kill switch and it fired right up.
He never normally used the kill switch, so he never thought about checking it.

It was the fob this new fob thing is it really worth it never had one on any other bike, but I'm old school but it started. 7 dollars for two battery's at rite aid. Going riding happy happy
12+v is good, until you hit the starter, like someone else said.. hold that voltmeter on the battery while hitting start and make sure the voltage doesn't drop too low. I had that issue a few years back.
