Default Slim Riser Swap

I finally caved in and bought new risers for my Slim. The slight lean forward was bothering my back on longer rides, so instead of getting mini-apes, I went for the cheaper alternative.

The risers are 3" from the base to the bottom of the bar. Drag Specialties part number 0602-0399.

I went with their split top clamp. Part number 18037506.

I was only able to go for a short ride with them on today, but the difference was very noticeable for only being 1.5" taller than stock. I highly recommend this mod to anyone looking for a little more pullback and rise out of the stock bars. For right around $90 without having to change any cables or wiring, it is a cheap price to pay for the increase in comfort.

These risers, along with the split clamp, allow the PV to be mounted front and center. An added bonus!

Dude I like that . I have a PV too and was considering the same mod. Do u think 6 inch risers would fit?

Nice. Can you provide a few shots head on and from the side of the bike? Kinda so you can see how it looks with the total package of the motorcycle.

I think 6" would be too much for the stock wires. The cables would probably have enough slack, but the stock wires might not make the stretch.

I will snap a few more tomorrow and post them on here.

I've been thinking of doing this as well. I'm not looking at it from a comfort stand point but I would like to lift my tank. The stock height doesn't allow for a lift so this seems to be a great alternative. I'm thinking the risers from harley which are marketed for the Slim will allow me to use the original top piece/clamp, I like the look of it and want to keep that.

A few extra photos from front and side showing the whole bike would be great

I was going to get the pullback risers from HD, but I like the straight rise look better.
