It does, and seems to add to the stability the rake creates.

Default Back Troubles

Thanks for all the advice on the back trouble guys. THe X-Bones has been one of my ultimate bikes, 27 H-D's to date. I never thought H-D would get back to the soul personality of thier bikes like the old pans and even the evos. They have hit the mark with the 96 in the X-bones IMO. Restored my faith as some would say. Sad to say, the Bones is on the sale block, the doc says the back is a real issues that threatens to take me out of Motorcycling all together. I sold my 100th anniversery Heritage to get the X-bones, and I dont regret it. My last ditch effort before surgery on the back is an FLHX arriving late NOV. I dont think it can ever hold the personality of the bones, but it may keep me on a bike. THanks again for a great forum with all the info on the bones. You guys are the best--JG

Default butty buddy

that pillion is a butty buddy. I have one that i throw on my cross bones. It suction cups right to your glossy painted fender. won't work on "demin" or flat finishes. My wife loves it over any stock seat. Check out their website. www.buttybuddy.com Here's a recent pic of mine

Default Handle bar question - answer: modified paul yaffe dive bars

Hey Atamagashock

The bars are modified Paul Yaffe Dive Bars. This was confirmed by Paul Yaffe sales department, but they didn't say exactly what they changed. The bike itself is from a dealership in Germany (see the link below). I hope this helps.
