UPDATE TIME: Laurie called - I was in class so the cell phone took the message - she had called my house and my wife had said I was on a break at school, to call me directly on my cell phone. Unfortunatly, I was already back in class, but Laurie did leave a direct call back number, which I did use. It went directly to her voice mail, so I left a message that I was available too take her calls for the remainder of the day and will be happy to hear back from her. Basicly "TAG" Laurie's it. Don't you just love phone tag? - hey I got a response - this is at least a move in some direction and yes, I did send the last service records along, shortly after my last post. Stay tuned.... and trick or treat - is it 5oclock yet?? - it is somewhere
(pitshshsh, ahh)

Wife thinks I've lost it, my son and I are SCREAMING HAPPY - Dog is barking
God - I thank you and everyone who has listened and followed this thread - you helped me keep my sanity - To be continued WITH PICS!!!!!
Amen, Brother. Just when you least expect it, things work out. Nice job sticking by your guns, keeping a cool head, and not letting your emotions overcome logic and good judgement. I am really glad this is working out correctly.
Man this is great news! What bike are you gonna get? Another Sportster? If it were me, I'd be checking a new Wide Glide, Road King or Street Glide. Heck, the MOCO is liable to make you a nice offer, considering all the trouble you've been through!
I bought a 1200c in the only color I ever imagined - literaly since I was a kid CHROME & BLACK. I don't know, I just seam to get a woody when I see it and finally getting one - words can not describe. Going through what I did since I got it - again, no words can do it justice.
As I have said from the begining, all I want is what I paid for - a bike that runs, no more, no less.
My initial bike of choice was the Lowrider - I knew the "look" of the bike I wanted - I thought the name was really cool.
The 1200c is almost a twin visually in my opinion, and for an additional 5K, not worth it given as the usual justification, Cash. I loved the bike - I would have loved it more if I could have made it to all the rides I was invited to go on. But it never ran.
Heck, I live in the area of "Americade" - a rally that draws close to 80,000 people to the Lake George, NY region and I didn't even make it up to the tent to get a HOG pin because the bike was not running (just something about going there in a cage).
The bike I will eventualy get to replace this heartache, is going to be a 1200c in Chrome & Black and I plan to make sure the MOCO covers every thing, the back rest, luggage rack, SE stage 1 upgrades, chrome "Star" AC medallion pluse the cost of putting all the goodies on (I already paid for it once) and a FULL TANK OF GAS.
As for what I am expecting, them wanting me to cover any price increase between when I bought and what is currently the selling price - Remeber my mother, STUBERN, you ain't seen stubern - till youv'e meet fran - thanks ya'll
Congratulations on your perseverance! The MOCO comes through in a pinch and does you right. I'm proud of the MOCO for steppin up and MORE proud of you for standing up for what is right. Good show!!
I want to see the pics when you get the new ride...
Again, congratulations, although it will still take a lot to get over the heartache and lost opportunities that lemon gave you.
