Just a thought, but if I were you I would print out your two threads here and send them to the MOCO also. Mention that you are discussing this on a forum where as many as 5,000 members might be keeping track of your progress. Not that you need to threaten them but maybe it would help your cause.
solorider - how do you think I had so little trouble getting the SE/AC replaced?? - I had a folder full of threads concerning the problems with the AC. I'm kind of holding back on sending them the threads, just to give the MOCO a chance to do right on their own. If that fails, I think I'll send them a link to all the threads concerning my situation and start a new one, mabe "AND THE MOCO RESPONDS" - This will be acompanied by a letter, along with copies of all comunications, the history of the machine and the addresses of the BBB, dealership, and my buddy - the Lawyer. This has only just begun, to be continued.... ps, cell phone just went off, Mike at the dealer let me know it's done, offered to stay late if I wanted to get it tonight, have to call him back as I'm covering Latenight Detention @ School - I won't get home till after 5 and then the run out to the dealer would take even longer arainging a lift, mabe I can have it delivered - I have no intention of ever riding that machine again.
I really appreciate your taking the time to keep us informed of your issues. This is an incredibles story that we can all learned from. I certainly hope this turns out to your satisfaction. Thanks again.

DITTO!! You are providing a valuable service to us all molsenice...
navyman - I'm doing this as much for therapy as to help others, it sure bets having a tempertantrum as this way I at least get a few laughs. Just got off the horn with my buddy Mike at the dealer - He has offered to stay as late as it takes for someone to get me out to the dealer to get the bike. Now, should I drive it home or show up with a trailer? - I just have lost all faith in that machine. I'll see if I can line up a trailer, or better yet, I'll load it into the truck and just drive around with it in the back for a while. Haven't heared from the MOCO - this and other exciting updates to follow, stay tuned
Anyone interested in my letter to the MOCO? - it's 3pgs long and from the folks I work with, a pretty good read - all work orders are included - I e-mailed myself a copy so I could just forward if anyone wants for what its worth

If you want to argue on the grounds that you fear for your safety, then you have to trailer it or your defense will loose all credibility. Cheap Uhaul for 29.99 will do it if you ride in the back with it. You may want to use tie downs as well.
already made arangments with a buddy to help me load it into my truck and strap it down (a process I am getting VERY GOOD AT!). I'm bringing along a friend as Mike at the dealership is unable to assist in loading due to a paralizing bike acciedent years ago. He is beeing real cool about staying after work for me.
Well folks, the bike is home, sort of - it's still in the back of the truck. First time I was every not super psyked to see it. I don't know, I just can believe I'm this attached to a machine to have it cause this amount of frustration and to be a so utterly diapointed. I do not even have the desire to start it. Listen to me - I'm calling it an IT! SHHHHH (now reverse the last two staments). My wife says it was my decision to not drive it, as it is fixed - she's correct, but is she (my wife). I've been here before and never felt like this. The dealer did clean it up nice, I wouldn't have wanted to have that as today's assignment. Oh and they haven't heard from the MOCO, nether have I - stay tuned
Don't forget that all of these repairs are recorded documents - that means the value of the bike is a lot lower than the same bike with a clean service record. If I were looking to buy a used bike, I'd run when you gave me it's service history. Let the MOCO know that you feel the bike is depreciated signifigantly. It's sort of like a car that's been in a wreck.
