Not that I want to be a rambling wreck and post for the sake of posting, I just want everyone to know how much I apreciate my buddies - Both Mike @ the dealership and Bob who rode out with me to help load the bike, when both guys had only a million other things to do and places they needed to be - folks like this is what it's all about - yeah "molsenice" has settled my nerves (ok - tonight was a couple of Hienikins - they were free) - still not happy with the situation - will sleep tonight and life will go on - till next time...

Walt, forgot to thankyou last night for the Hinies - THANKS - just about all that's left is the poison (COORS LT.) - but NOT FOR LONG! - hope the drive to Fla. went smoothly.
Ok - update: I have been Calling the MOCO and talking to myself - well leaving a voice mail on Laurie's voicemail, where she cheerfully states "Hi, you have reached bla bla bla, I am here today, but am momentarily away from my desk, please leave a message and I will get right back to you. If you are a dealer, please leave your number." I have left two numbers for her to call, (home and cell) - she has my E-Mail address as I sent along all service records with the aformentioned 3pg. letter. When I called on MONDAY, I was told I would here back in a couple of days - hmmmm - interesting. What's a couple? - I only had a couple officer - grrrr
Two side notes, the music when you are on hold always starts with "RADAR LOVE" every time - very distorted as the volume is WAY WAY UP!!!!!!!
Second, is a note to myself - e-mail the MOCO that work order I got yesterday when I picked up the bike - they may not have that yet.
Gotta take my son to soccer, will call MOCO one more time, it is posible Laurie may not have gotten her messages yet - whats one more.

This is every motorcyclist nightmare. Stay cool, calm, and rational for the time being. There must be a higher power looking down and wondering why you haven't flipped out yet. A test of wills if you like, and remember that big business wheels along at a snails pace. I know your situation because i was there. It took 18 months to resolve and i had to get an attorney and it ended in my favor, but for those 18 months i was more than alittle perturbed. Oh, and it wasn't Harley it was Ford Motor Co. But in the end........the little guy prevailed!

Roadster - that 18 months musta really been the turds. As for a higher power - we chat everyday, I know he's looking over me. As for a test of wills - just ask my mother - I love her like no one and she & my pop are still my heros, they taught me the important things in this world. Mom could be stubborn(at times) - I think I could now teach "The MASTER". At my wedding, to the disbalief of most, I danced with my Mom (with her permission) to the Fine Young Canables "You Drive Me Crazzy". Mom and I were LOAS - and loving it. - The song was so fitting for us. My family can be at times much like a wolf pack: we may fight amunst ourselves, but cross any one of us and you end up dealing with all of us, remember, at this point, your going down since I never learned how to stop once I get going.

I hope everything works out well for you. Just make sure you get/keep documentation of everything that has happened. I have an 03 with just over 4,000 miles, but mine is due to vacations in Iraq. Good luck in getting it resolved, and if I run into you on the road I'll buy you a beer or two.

Ok - time for an update. Wife and kids headed for Long Island over the weekend - a good thing since as of late, I haven't been overflowing in the "Friendly" dept.. My wife is getting a little iritated with me as I have been in an unusual funk and have been unable to get this situation out of my mind, but she loves me and understands to a point.
Fired off a two page letter to te MOCO this morning, basicly detailing the lack of comunication on their part, still friendly, but with a distinct edge that I am unhappy, still need to scan in the service record from Thursday, - the rockerbox repair and send that allong. I will be calling them this afternoon, when I get out of work, this time, I will not be leaving any messages as I plan to stay on hold till I talk with a human that has some status on the food chain. Stay tuned...
