I'm going to be hooking up a pigtail to my battery so I can plug in my battery tender and also to plug in my 12 volt air compressor which I will use in conjunction with my stop-n-go tire plug gun.
For those of you that have this hook up, where do you have the business end of your pigtail coming out of the bike for easy access?
if its a softtail, coming out from under the seat on right side and laying on top of the oil bag.about 6-8" .Cant be seen and easily accessible. May want to put some fingernail polish on the battery connections so they wont vibrate loose(been using it for years on most electrical connections)
From behind the battery cover, zip-tied with a black zip-tie to the down tube. Very accessible but blends right in with the other wires/hoses already there.
Under seat, left side. Will reach to up between the tank and seat, making it easy to plug in your heated vest also!!!!!
I found this little item at Walmart for $3.00. Now I can use the GPS with the voice directions or charge my cell phone.
couldn't upload until Amanda slew the picture gremlins !!!!!!!!!!!
