I installed the rush slip-ons on my 09 sporty, 2.25 baffles, nice loud sound, but when running it smells pretty rich. I bought this bike back in january, first bike, and i'm only 18 and new to this, but the dealership said that rush exhaust was the only exhaust where i would not have to remap. I don't hear any popping on decel so i pretty sure there are no leaks.
Any ideas about why it is running rich.
Also, i did just put gas in it for the first time (only 80 miles on bike so far).
I would remap with any mods to air/fuel or exhaust just to be safe. You may not have to since you don't have any popping on deceleration. I do recall smelling fuel on my stock bike till she got broke in.
I would love to hear a sound clip of the exhaust because that's my next project.
+1 you should be fine without a remap just for the slipons, especially since you dont have any popping. Put up a sound byte of your bike running so we can hear your slipons.
After I push Rush slipons on my 07, gas mileage decreased 10 MPG and you could smell it was running rich. I had them do a remap and it solved the problem.

here you go with rush slip ons 2" baffle , and she is loud..
