I need some pics of drag bars with bar end mirrors....how do they get installed? Do your grips matter (as far as which ones you have)? Not seeing much info on this in a search. I am looking at the ones at EurocomponentsUSA.com, just not sure about the above issues......Here's what I am working with:
Sorry not a Sportster but same idea. Springer w/drag bars and bar end mirror. Mine are Joker Machine. They have several styles available. End of the grip needed cutting and a hole drilled in the bar. Nothing major.

I do not have them on the Sporty, but have bar end mirrors on the Z1000 and love them. You can see so well and it give the bike a nice low profile look.

Beutiful bike!!! Those are pretty much the mirrors I wanna go with. I have the Iso-Grips on mine with removable end caps. You say I'll have to drill out the end of the handlebars, or did you mean the grips?
has anyone found bar end mirrors that stick down instead of out? want 2 keep the bike as narrow as possible
Again, not a Sportster, but I have upside-down bar end mirrors for the same reason. Well, just one mirror. It looks like it will be in the way but it's not at all & I see much better than with the stock, vibrating mirrors.
PGDredd, with mine (only bar end mirrors I have experience with) they have regular bar ends that secure into the ends of the bars with a bolt in the center that, when tightened, expand and kind of reverse clamp themselves in. Then the mirror attaches to that. And yours has a kick-*** paint job!

Thanks. Not sure how the ISO will work. I had to remove the grip and drill a tiny hole into the handlebar for access to a setscrew. My nostalgia grips had a thick rubber end that had to be removed in order to work with the Joker mirror. All in all, a very simple install.

Look at the Joker mirrors, they have a few different styles including one that attaches and hangs down. It also folds in case you hit something.
