Bought theese from a fellow HD forum member US saddle bags just got them on where a bitch to install with the quick disconnect backrest but i like them alot .

I really want to get these same bags but wasn't sure how they fit with the the detachable backrest. What kind of trouble did you have? Do you recommend them?

I recommend them very well made would have been alot easier to install with hard mount brackets . You'll have to relocate your signal lights to the license plate holder i used the lay back signal light kit . Make a spacer for one side of the quick detach bracket and get longer bolts took awhile to figure this all out but it works good now and looks really sweet .

Cool. I picked up the same turn signal relocation kit a few days ago - plan to install it this weekend. I have been thinking of getting these bags for a long time, now that I see it can be done with the detachable backrest I will order them tomorrow.

Its alot easier to do all this with the rear wheel removed needed a new rear tire so i would have had to do it anyway .

I ordered these bags today - got the red flame ones like in the sponsors ad. The service guy said they will ship them with the correct hardware for the detachable backrest. Should have them in a week or two!
