I have a quick release on my 2006 883c. I don't like to use it except when it is cold. Other than that, i take it off. It does cause a lot of helmet buffeting in the wind over the top of it. I wish it were about 1 inch taller or maybe I need to be one inch shorter.
A girl bike, how rude. JK I have an 05 1200C and I have a full fat Memphis Shade windshield. It is 19" cause I am tall and it blocks all of the front wind. My windshield is dark tinted at the bottom below the handle bars, looks really nice, kinda goes with the rest of the bike, you can get their windshields in all different colors at the bottom. My is also quick detach.
