For me, Sundowner sucks. My butt can't stand it for more than 30-40 miles. Gets pretty bad in first 10 miles. I'm 6'2" and with mid controls it just forces me into most uncomfortable position. With stock seat I can ride as long as I wish. I use the Sundowner for two-up and I hate it.
Rubber mount XL's with forward controls are never very forward anyway. I'm 6'2 and my forward controls should be called slightly forward mids. You would probably be much more comfortable with forward controls on your sled.
I can't speak for the Sundowner since I've never tried one but at 6'2 picking a seat is not as easy as you'd think considering these bikes are built for people around 5'9 in height. Most seats are made to sit you forward and low which is the exact opposite a person with a 6'2 frame needs.
