losing stuff while riding..

So I read a forum post recently about someone losing their wallet while riding and it reminded me of my own experience..

There appears to be a void in space/time continuum where things that fall off the bike while riding tend to disappear to..

My license plate bracket broke off my bike after taking a 3 mile long ride.. after numerous passes with friends trying to find it, we just gave up.. and after a friend lost his wallet in a similar fashion, the void in space/time continuum theory came to mind..

Have you ever been able to find something you dropped while riding, if so, what was it ?

i lost a hat while riding and lukly another rider came along and snatched it up and gave it to me when we caught up

I lost my favorite hat.....oh and a Phantom suction cup passenger seat. No, there was no passenger on it at the time.

I've never lost anything off the Sporty, but I've had a lot of half empty cigarette packs get sucked out of my shirt pocket at highway speeds when I forgot to move them to the tank bag.
