Question advice for 883-1200 conversion

Hey guys, my brand new iron 883 is on the way here to germany. i want to do the upgrade to a 1200 but don't know if i should wait, or do it when the bike is brand new. i know what alot of you are thinking. "why didn't you just buy a 1200?" well they don't make the nighster anymore and i liked everything about the iron better than any of the 1200 bikes. so what do you guys say? convert to 1200 asap so i still have brand new 883 parts i can sell? or wait?

My new bike is on the way and I want to tear it down and not ride it.

It is almost "Spring Time In Germany" Crap I would ride it and do the change this winter when there is 4ft of snow on the ground and it is colder than a witches titty. I remember German winters, they are colddddddddd.

Ride the bike, enjoy it and then tear it down.

Oh by the way conversion will probably void your warranty.

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/sport...eets-vids.html

check out my link for some go fast info. #1 is to get a budget #2 go to hammerperf.com take half a day and read threw the website. Tons of info on there. They are 1 of the best when it comes to sportster performance from mild to wild. My engine combo is still streetable, runs on pump gas and reliable.

My thoughts are **** on warranties! A top end conversion if done by you, can be done on a weekend fairly easy. 1 or 2 days labor then your back up and going.
